
Q: When is the annual renewal date?
A: Our annual renewal is April 1st of each year.
Q: Do you have seasonal moorage?
A: Yes we do, there is a three month minimum for all moorage contracts.
Q: After my moorage contract is up is my moorage assumable? Or do I lose it?
A: The moorage is assumable, unless you decide to cancel. We will not give your slip away.
Q: Is there anything included with my regular (non LOB) moorage?
A: Yes. Included is your electricity, water, parking and use of the New Pump Out Station for the duration of your contract.
Q: Are you accepting Live On board customers?
A: There is currently a wait list based on occupancy.
Q: Which slips sizes come available more often?
A: There is frequently space available for vessels 24’ to 31’ overall.
Q: Is there a wait list?
A: There is currently a wait list for Live On Board, float homes, boat houses, sheds and vessels over 31’ overall in length.
Q: How often can I stay on my vessel?
A: The maximum number of nights is 2 per week. Not to exceed 60 nights in a calendar year.
Q: Is there transient moorage?
A: Yes, upon slip availability.
Q: Can I rent a boat house, float home or shed?
A: Currently all of the boat houses, float homes and sheds are privately owned by the customers and is available upon space availability.
Q: What amp voltage is available on the Docks?
A: We supply 15 amps. We can accommodate 15, 30 and 50 amps.
Q: Are Haul Outs and Dry Storage included in the Moorage?
A: No. There are additional rates.
Q: Do I need insurance to moor my vessel?
A: Yes. Current one million insurance is needed on all vessels.
Q: Is the premises under security supervision?
A: Yes. We offer 24/7 year round security, there are always 2 guards on patrol and round the clock video surveillance. There is also gated parking and locked dock entrances.
Q: Are there expansions in the works or being planned?
A: Yes there are. Here at The Creek we are always on the go and planning new developments and projects.
Q: Is there a Fuel Wharf on site?
A: We have a Fuel Wharf that is open 7 days per week for your convenience.
Q: Is there a Pump Out Station on site?
A: Yes. At no charge to our Moorage Customers.
Q: What facilities are offered?
A: We have brand new washroom, shower and laundry facilities on site.
Q: Are there Internet services available?
A: Yes. Broadband Xpress is available through Marine Communications.
Q: Is there a restaurant on site?
A: Yes. The High Boats Café is equipped with a deck overlooking the water.
Q: Are there pets allowed at the Marina?
A: We do allow pets. They must be leashed and under control at all times.
Q: Is there Crabbing or Fishing allowed at the Marina?
A: No. Crabbing and Fishing is not permitted.
Q: Do you supply temporary parking?
A: We have either hourly parking for $2.00 per hour or daily parking for $10.00 per day.
Q: What Size lift do you have, and what is the maximum beam?
A: We have a 50 ton lift and the maximum width we can lift is 15’6’’
Q: Do you have facilities to lift my mast off
A: Yes, our travel lift has a jib crane in which we would use to lift masts on and off vessels. The charge is $80.00 per hour minimum ½ hour charge.
Q: Do you power wash boats?
A: No. you can have marine systems located in yard, power wash your boat for a charge of $2.00 per ft. or you may bring your own power washer to do your self.
Q: What if I want to bring my boat up just to power wash and do the zincs how much would that be?
A: We call that a “Quick lift”, we book them over the lunch hour or coffee breaks. You will stay in the slings for 1 hour to 1 ½ hours depending on what time you book. This is a 1 way charge depending on the size of vessel.
Q: How much does it cost for dry land storage?
A: Our dry storage rates are a daily rate depending on how long you stay and what season it is. April – September is our high season so rates will be high higher than in October – February. Rates are depending on the size of vessel.
Q: What is Valet Yacht storage?
A: Valet yacht storage is mooring your vessel on the hard, you’ll have all the same benefits as in the water moorage. The difference is, when you want to take your boat out. Call us with 24 hrs notice, we will book you into the water. (You must be present when you boat go’s in water.) You can go out for a day or however long, when you return you bring boat to our holding dock. U can then call us or come into the office and we will book your boat back out of water, you don’t have to be here and we put it back in your spot on hard.
No more worries about bottom paint, zincs or bad weather. Also with Valet yacht service you only pay 1 way on lift which works out to ½ Price for lifts. The rates for this service are the same as are in water moorage rates. Great deal
