Spirit Trail Construction

As you may have noticed the Spirit Trail is well under way. This is a joint venture with the City Of North Vancouver. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause
This page was designed so we can relay any important information regarding the construction of the Spirit Trail and how it affects our tenants.
We have already begun to remove the asphalt.
The Wellness Center and the High Boats Café have been relocated
New Communications cables are being run to the existing buildings.

Power

The old electrical building at the head of G Dock will be replaced by a new electrical building on the south side of the marina office.
Power Outages will occur throughout the marina at some point (To be announced) these outages will take place so that we can transfer the electrical from the old building to the new building.
Old power lines are slated to be removed
The Trees on the shoreline will not be affected
The totem pole will be taken down for some maintenance and will be put back up in a new location.

Parking

Notices of Spirit Trail construction have gone up. All areas that are marked no parking will be enforced by towing vehicles at the owner’s expense.

We have opened up the east end of the marina as an overflow parking area. A meter has been installed for your convenience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the trail be open at night?
The trail will close down at night and re open in the morning. There will be a gate on the BCIT side.
Will this allow any access to the docks?
There will be no access to the docks > All gates will have code readers and will not be open to the public. The codes change on a weekly basis
Where will we park?
Parking has been added on the east side of the marina. This lot will be a permanent fixture.
Are you going to pave the parking lot?
Yes. At some point
